Raul Cisneros has written two very delightful books that cross both cultures and languages.  While written for children, there is no rule that says adults can't also enjoy them!

1. The Woodpecker's Headache:  A woodpecker tries to find the right tree for his family to nest in, but discovers there is more to it than simply picking a tree.
2. Raul and the Iguana:  A boy named Raul discovers an iguana in his house!  Should he keep it as a pet? Hmmmm.
