President
The President presides at meetings and dinners of the chapter and is a member of the Board of Directors. He or she signs all written contracts and obligations of the chapter. ... The term of office is one year, with unlimited re-elections possible.
Vice-President
The Vice-President does whatever the President asks her or him to do and fills in for the President when needed. The term of office is one year, with unlimited re-elections possible.
Secretary
The Secretary is a really important position, with many defined duties associated with keeping track of the activities of the Chapter. ... The term of office is one year, with unlimited re-elections possible.
Treasurer
The Treasurer keeps the books and accounts for inflow and outflow. The Secretary and the Treasurer work closely together. The term of office is one year, with unlimited re-elections possible.
Networking Coordinator
The Networking Coordinator maintains the membership roster, liaises with AOG central, and solicits sponsorships. It is more work than it sounds like, particularly with people moving into and out of the area regularly. The term of office is one year, with unlimited re-elections possible.
Board Member
There are 10 members of the Board, one of whom is designated as Chair. Five members constitutes a quorum. The Board of Directors are responsible for the management and governance of the Chapter and have fiduciary responsibility for the operations of the Chapter; the Officers execute actions associated with the mission of the Chapter. In a very real sense, the Officers of the Chapter work for the Board. The Chair organizes and directs the activities of the Board. Board members serve for three years and may be re-elected. There are no term limits.
